Meizu has finally unveiled its Zero smartphone in China. It's one of a kind device from the Chinese OEM as it doesn't have any ports and buttons on the device. Meizu is calling the device as a “true portless smartphone”. Vivo, another Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been teasing for this same kind of device on its Twitter account. The complete device specifications have been given below.

The device comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC based on 10mn Finfet process with Adreno 630 GPU. The device will make use of LPDDR4X RAM. As for the cameras, the company has gone for Sony’s IMX 380 + IMX 350 dual rear camera setup. For the selfies, we have a 20MP front-facing shooter. The earpiece is sandwiched between the metal casing and the display.

The device also has an embedded in-display fingerprint scanner. The promotional video from Meizu also points out that the device is IP68 water resistant. Since there are no port and buttons on the device, Meizu has switched to Wireless Charging Solutions. It supports what Meizu is calling the Super mcharge Wireless charging solution. Hopefully, Meizu will ship its smartphone with the proprietary wireless charger included in the box. On the other hand, the hardware buttons are now replaced by pressure sensitive areas on the display which will act as triggers.
