Redmi Note 7 launch event scheduled for Feb 12

The upcoming Redmi Note 7 from Xiaomi may launch on February 12th if the new reports are to be believed. Along with the launch of Redmi Note 7, the company is also set to launch a brand new device in the Indian market dubbed the Redmi Go. If the reports are true then Redmi Go might be the cheapest smartphone ever released by Xiaomi in India. There is no information regarding the pro version of Redmi Note 7. The Smartphone still hasn't been launched in China as of yet so we can't expect it to launch in India anytime soon.

Redmi Note 7 is a midrange device from Xiaomi and is the true successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro launched last year in February. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro didn't do so well in India as the company was expecting it to. The main reason being the minor camera specs upgrade and the notched front display, rest if the specifications are pretty similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro. Redmi Go

Redmi Go is an Android Go powered device which is already launched in Europe with a price tag of €80. In India, the price is slated to be around ₹4,999. The device comes with most basic of specifications like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 along with a Gigabyte of RAM. The device will be available in two color variants notably Black and Blue. As for the pricing details of Redmi Note 7, the base variant of the device is supposed to come with a price tag of ₹9999. If Xiaomi does launch Redmi Note 7 Pro along with other devices then it could be a game changer. The launch event is scheduled to take place in New Delhi.
