Realme 2 Pro Bootloader Unlocking starts today

Realme, the sub-brand of Oppo has finally started unlocking the bootloaders of its Realme 2 Pro device starting today. Realme Mobiles added a tweet on their twitter account stating the news. This news comes after users flooded the official Twitter handles of Realme Mobiles and Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme Mobiles with the bootloader unlock requests.

Realme has also uploaded the source code on it’s GitHub account repository. The source codes aren't complete at the moment as they only include device drivers, but you can expect the full sources in weeks to come. It's great news for people who want to have their bootloader unlocked and tried on different mods. The unlocking instructions are now available on the Realme Forums. Realme 2 Pro comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with Artificial Intelligence Engine. The device comes in 4/64, 6/64 & 8/128 RAM & Storage Configurations respectively. An unlocked bootloader brings in a lot of possibilities for the users. This means new custom ROMs, Custom Kernels and more to breathe in new life into the device. Now all the users have to do it wait for developers on XDA to start working on the device and come up with a working TWRP.
