Oppo K3 - The New Warrior?

Amidst the cut-throat competition in the mid-price range mobiles, Oppo has launched its warrior in the war. Yes, you got it right! Oppo K3 has been officially launched in China. What's the phone has in store, let's find out!

Specifications

The Oppo K3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, the same one found in Realme 3 pro. The device has a 6.5 inch AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It's a full-screen display without any notch or punch hole, as it packs a pop-up selfie camera. One more important thing is that the phone has in-display fingerprint sensor instead of a physical one.

In the camera sector, the rear camera is a 16 MP primary camera + 2 MP depth camera. The phone packs camera features such as AI portrait mode, AI scene detection and Ultraclear night view 2.0. The pop-up selfie camera has a 16 MP sensor and the company claims it's speed to be 0.74 seconds.

As far as the battery is concerned, the phone features a 3765 mAH battery coupled with VOOC 3.0.

Availability and price

The phone is launched in 3 variants :

  • Oppo K3 6 GB RAM / 64 GB storage

    • Price : ¥1599 (Rs.16100)
  • Oppo K3 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage

    • Price: ¥1899 (Rs.19100)
  • Oppo K3 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage

    • Price: ¥2299 (Rs.23200

The device will be available for sale on June 1, but the presale has begun for all variants except 8/256.

Oppo K3 + Power of Vooc Chargers 

Along with the mobiles, Oppo has also launched, for the first time, VOOC power banks and car chargers!

The list goes as such:

  • 20W VOOC power bank with 10000 mAH capacity (¥279/Rs.2800)
  • 50W SuperVOOC power bank with 10000 mAH capacity (¥379/Rs.3800)
  • SuperVOOC car charger (¥199/Rs.2000)
  • Vanilla Oppo 10000 mAH power bank (¥149/Rs.1500)

The power banks and car chargers come with USB type C and are available on the online Oppo store.
