The McLaren edition of OnePlus 6T comes with 10 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. Rest of the specifications are pretty much the same as in the regular version of OnePlus 6T. With this device, OnePlus has introduced a new charging technology called Warp Charging, which charges 50% of the battery in 20 minutes.

As for the design, the back of the device now has a speed orange rim around the sides which gives it a very unique look. There's also a McLaren branding at the bottom. That's pretty much it for the device. It's actually the box and box contents which stand out from the rest. The box comes in the same Speed Orange Color with the tagline “Salute to Speed". There's carbon fibre design for the interiors which is very synonymous with McLaren and it's formula one cars.

The Box includes a book which details the history of McLaren in the racing world and also houses the device. A new 30W Warp Charge adapter is also included in the box along with a Speed Orange coloured USB Type C cable. As the device lacks a headphone jack there is a USB Type C to 3.5mm audio adapter which also has the same colour as the USB Cable.

OnePlus has also included a carbon fibre back cover for the device and a little souvenir called "Speedmark" from McLaren. The Speedmark houses the logo made from the carbon fibre panel which is also used in McLaren MCL 33 edition.

Pricing and Availability

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is priced at £649 which is a big price bump when comparing it with the highest configuration variant of the regular OnePlus 6T which retails for about £579 for 8GB RAM and 256GB internal Storage. The device will be available for purchase starting December 13 in Europe and North America followed by China and India a bit later. The official launch event for India will be held tomorrow in Mumbai.

Stay tuned for more news on mobile devices and technology. The article will be updated once the Indian pricing is released by the company.
