Pixel 3 Lite Surfaces online: Reveals Qualcomm SD670 & 3.5mm Audio Jack
Pixel 3 Lite has finally been confirmed thanks to the numerous leaked images which have surfaced online. Earlier this year many sources pointed that Google was working on a Mini version of Pixel 3 along with the regular models but as we all know that didn't happen. Fast forward a couple of months and we saw two unknown devices listed in an Augmented Reality Core APK teardown by androidpolice. The codename “Bonito” & “Sargo” both are the names of fishes and that's how Google codenames its products.

Design
Top View of the Pixel 3 Lite ©rozetked.meThe device completely resembles the OG Pixel 3. The images reveal a glossy finish at the back, most probably a plastic build with aluminium frame. A fingerprint scanner can also be seen at the back. There's also a coloured power button which we have come to love in Pixel devices.
Bottom View of the Pixel 3 Lite ©rozetked.meAt the bottom, there are two cutouts possibly to house the stereo speakers or one could be a speaker and another one a microphone with the same design just to make it look symmetrical. USB Type C port can also be seen. On top, there's a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mic for noise cancellation.
Specifications
Benchmarked Pixel 3 Lite with Qualcomm Snapdragon SD670 ©rozetked.meBenchmarking applications have revealed most of the specifications. There's Qualcomm Snapdragon SD670 under the hood powering it all along with Adreno 615 for all the graphics requirement. Here are the Technical Specifications for the device codenamed Sargo.
Pixel 3 Lite Technical Specifications:-
- 5.56” FHD+ IPS LCD Panel
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 670
- Adreno 615
- 12 MP rear camera
- 8 MP front camera
- 4GB RAM + 32GB of Storage
- 2915 mAh battery
- Android 9.0 Pie
- 3.5mm audio jack
If the 12MP camera sensor on Sargo is same as the camera sensor which we have seen on the Pixel 3 then you can expect the same awesome features and photo quality it brings with it. The Pixel 3 Lite is also supposed to carry a high price tag of around $400 which is a bit much considering the fact that these are meant to be mid-range devices.
Back View of the Pixel 3 Lite showing Fingerprint Sensor ©rozetked.meThe other device codenamed “Bonito” is yet to make an appearance online and is supposed to be a big brother of “Sargo”. This device will supposedly come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, a bigger battery capacity and a bigger screen. There are no screenshots or images to confirm the above specs but we expect it to drop soon.
We will update the article when new leaks pop up. What do you think about these new mid-range devices from Google? What are your views on its pricing?
