It looks like HMD Global is gearing up to launch the upgrade of Nokia 7, which it launched last year, with Nokia 7 Plus this year.

This phone which first appeared in an unreleased camera app from Nokia now spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench.

Till now all we know is the name of the device, but this the very first time the specs of the Nokia 7 Plus surfaced online on Geekbench.

This benchmark listing reveals that the Nokia 7 Plus is powered by Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor coupled with 4Gb of RAM and was running on Android 8.0 out-of-the-box.

In comparison, the Nokia 7, which was launched in China in October last year, is powered by Snapdragon 630 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM. It features a 5.2-inch Full-HD IPS display Gorilla Glass protection.

If we look at the benchmark results of the Nokia 7 Plus, the phone scores 1636 in the single-core test and the multi-core test stands at 5902. No further information is available at this time regarding this phone.

As Nokia 7 is China exclusive we don't think that HMD Global will bring this to Global Market. So Nokia 7 Plus might not be announced at MWC 2018.

It is more likely that HMD Global will announce its flagship Nokia 9 at MWC 2018 and Nokia 1 and Nokia 6 might also make a debut into the Global market.
