Instagram Will 'Recommend' Posts On Your Feed

Instagram is now rolling out a new feature to users on iOS & Android, which adds a new section named "Recommended for You", it is clearly labeled so that it won't create any confusion and it shows around three to five posts in the section.

Even though this is not the first time Instagram showed you recommended content. But earlier, you need to dive to Explore section to see it. But now, it is pushed directly to your feed.

It is one of the biggest changes made to Instagram since the introduction of ads on the platform. This change comes after the last update which widened the user's access to content beyond the accounts you follow.

There is an option to temporarily hide posts that appear in "Recommended for You", as stated in this help document.
